Teriyaki Glazed Salmon

4 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
5 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 teaspoons crushed ginger
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 pounds salmon

Start by making the teriyaki marinade in a bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the bowl.

Add 4 tablespoons of soy sauce.

Add 1/2 cup of brown sugar.

Add 5 tablespoons of hoisin sauce.

Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of white vinegar.

Add 2 teaspoons of crushed ginger.

Add 2 cloves of crushed garlic.

Mix everything together to combine the marinade.

Pour the teriyaki marinade all over 3 pounds of salmon.

Let the salmon marinate for one hour to soak in the flavors.

After marinating, divide the salmon into two portions.

Place two pieces of salmon on a separate plate for the microwave cooking method.

Use the Panasonic microwave with the flash express broiler for the first cooking method.

Place the marinated salmon onto the broiler rack of the microwave.

Broil the salmon in the microwave for 10 minutes.

Check the salmon after 10 minutes; it should be cooked through and have a nice color.

For the oven method, preheat the oven to broil.

Place the other two pieces of salmon onto the second rack of the oven.

Broil the salmon in the oven for 15 minutes, but after 10 minutes, take out the fish and baste them.

Put the salmon back in the oven to finish broiling.
