1

Welcome to G-Rod Grills; today we're making no wrap ribs using a Bradley smoker.

2

Start with a full spare rib, trimmed down to about 8-9 bones, removing excess fat.

3

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs using a paper towel for grip.

4

Apply a thin layer of yellow mustard over the ribs as a binder for the rub.

5

Coat the ribs with a finer homemade rub, ensuring to cover all sides and ends.

6

Apply a coarser party rub on top of the finer rub to help with bark formation, pressing it into the meat.

7

Let the seasoned ribs sit on the counter for 15-20 minutes while the smoker heats up.

8

Preheat the Bradley smoker to the desired temperature.

9

Place the ribs in the smoker, bone side down, and ensure they are tightly packed.

10

Smoke the ribs for about 4-5 hours, checking every 30-45 minutes for dryness.

11

After the first hour, spritz the ribs with a mixture of apple juice and apple cider vinegar to keep them moist.

12

Continue to monitor and spritz every 30-45 minutes as needed throughout the smoking process.

13

After about 3 hours, check the ribs for tenderness and spritz if they appear dry.

14

Once the ribs have a dark bark and are tender, remove them from the smoker.
