Knead firm dough of 1.5 cups of gram flour, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, ½ teaspoon asafoetida, ½ teaspoon carom seeds, 2-3 teaspoon oil, 2 teaspoon curd and water.

Apply some oil to palms and prepare rolls from the dough.

In boiling water place these rolls and let them cook for 10-15 minutes.

After they are cooked cut them into equal pieces.

Now heat some oil and add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and ½ teaspoon asafoetida.

Add chopped onion and stir till it becomes transparent.

Now add ginger garlic paste and mix well.

Add ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 2 teaspoon dhana-jeera powder and mix well.

Add 1 cup of curd and stir well.

Add some water and stir well.

Add salt as per taste and let the sabji cook for a while.

Now add the gatte and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Finish it with some coriander leaves.
