Fry the bread in oil at about 160'C (320'F) over medium heat for 2 minutes per side.
Remove the bread from the oil when both sides turn golden.
Place the fried French toast on a grill rack to remove excess oil.
Mix 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
While the French toast is hot, coat it with the cinnamon sugar.
