Purchase or debone chicken breasts.
Cut a slit in the chicken breast to butterfly it without fully opening it.
Place the chicken breast in a plastic bag and pound it flat using a meat mallet.
Season the flattened chicken with salt and black pepper.
Place a slice of ham and a slice of Emmental cheese in the center of the chicken breast.
Roll the chicken tightly into a cylinder using the plastic wrap.
Prepare a batter by mixing an egg, salt, black pepper, all-purpose flour, and bread crumbs in a bowl.
In another bowl, mix Parmesan cheese with bread crumbs and chopped parsley for the dry coating.
Dip the rolled chicken into the batter, then coat it with the dry mixture.
Drizzle some oil on the sides of the chicken and place it on a baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 18 to 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
