Welcome to the channel; today we're making corned beef stuffed dumplings.
Take out approximately 3 cups of all-purpose flour.
Add 1/2 tablespoon of salt to the flour.
Add 4 teaspoons of baking powder to the flour mixture.
Stir the flour, salt, and baking powder together.
Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to the mixture and stir.
Add 1/3 cup of whole milk to the flour mixture.
Slowly add water while kneading the dough until a firm mound forms; I added 3/4 cup of water.
Sprinkle flour to prevent the dough from being sticky; it should be dry on the outside.
Cover the dough with a wet paper towel and let it rise while preparing the filling.
Open the can of corned beef using the key; twist it around to open.
Chop 1/2 onion, 1/2 tomato, and green pepper finely.
Heat a frying pan and add the chopped onions, tomatoes, and green pepper.
Add 1 tablespoon of ketchup to the frying pan.
Cook the chopped vegetables until softened, about 10 minutes, adding a little water to help the cooking process.
Roll out the dough into small circles, pinching off pieces and flattening them.
Use a rolling pin or your hands to shape the dough into circles.
Scoop portions of the corned beef mixture into the center of each dough circle.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch it closed to seal.
Heat 1.5 cups of canola oil in a large shallow frying pan for about 3 minutes.
Fry the dumplings until golden brown on both sides, rotating them for even cooking.
Ensure the dough is thick to prevent the filling from seeping out during frying.
Keep the heat at low medium to avoid burning the outside while ensuring the inside cooks through.
Serve the finished corned beef stuffed dumplings with fried plantains and avocado on the side.
