1 tablespoon Vegeta seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 medium onion
1/2 cup sour cream or yogurt

Cut the chape bread in the middle to create a surface for frying and to make it soft and juicy.

Preheat the pan on high temperature and place the chape in it.

Fry the chape until it gets a nice crust.

Sprinkle a pinch of Vegeta seasoning over the chape for extra flavor.

After achieving an even crust on all sides of the chape, place the bread inside down in the pan.

After about 30 seconds, open the lid and pour in a little water to create steam for juicier bread.

Remove the bread from the chape and rotate them to ensure both sides get a nice crust.

Serve the bottom part first, then add the ćevapi on top.

Add a dollop of cream or kefir, and optionally serve with chopped onion on the side.
