Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot.

Open the ramen noodle package and remove the seasoning packet, setting it aside.

Break the ramen noodles in half and add them to the boiling water.

Cook the noodles until they are about 90% done, about 1.5 to 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Strain the noodles, leaving a small puddle of water at the bottom.

Add the chicken seasoning to the noodles and stir to combine.

Add 4 slices of American cheese to the noodles and stir until melted, turning the heat on low if necessary.

Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of bacon bits to the noodles and mix well.

Serve the ramen noodles in a bowl.
