Bring 1 liter of water to a boil in a pot.
Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the boiling water.
Add salt to the water for flavor.
Add thin spaghetti to the pot, cooking it for 8 minutes (2 minutes longer than the package instructions).
Scoop off the foam that forms while cooking the noodles.
Strain the noodles after 8 minutes and add them to the soup.
