Beef Chili

Cultural Context

Chili is a staple of American cuisine, particularly in the southwestern United States. It is often associated with Tex-Mex cuisine and is a popular dish at gatherings, cook-offs, and sporting events. Variations exist, with some regions adding ingredients like corn or different types of meat. Chili's origins are debated, with influences from Mexican and Native American cooking.
