Place a heavy based saucepan on the stove.

Pour in 750 ml of milk, 250 ml of whipping cream, 150 g of sweetened condensed milk, 1/3 cup of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of green cardamom powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Whisk until smooth and bring to a boil, turning off just before it boils.

Bake 200 g of puff pastry until golden brown and set aside to cool completely.

Crush half of the cooled puff pastry into a 9 by 13 inch ovenproof dish.

Sprinkle over 1/2 cup of slivered almonds, 1/4 cup of shredded coconut, 1/2 cup of raisins, and 1/2 cup of crushed pistachios.

Top with the rest of the crushed puff pastry.

Pour the hot milk mixture over the puff pastry.

Dollop over 80 ml of heavy cream.

Bake at 180° for 15 to 20 minutes.
