Chivito, Uruguay's Classic Sandwich

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Season the beef steak with salt and black pepper.

Cook the beef steak in the skillet until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side.

In the same skillet, cook the ham until heated through, then remove and set aside.

Sauté sliced onions and garlic in the bacon fat until translucent.

Layer the cooked beef steak with ham and mozzarella cheese in the skillet.

Cover the skillet until the cheese melts, about 2-3 minutes.

Toast the ciabatta buns in a separate pan until golden brown.

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the ciabatta buns.

Add the beef, ham, and melted cheese on top.

Top with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, and sliced hard-boiled eggs.

Add green olives for garnish.

Cover with the top half of the ciabatta buns.

Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
