Cut the loaf into several slices of equal size and shape the pancakes by hand.
Preheat the skillet and brush the surface with vegetable oil.
Place the pancakes on the skillet and cook for 1 minute on one side before flipping them with a spatula.
Fry the other side until golden brown, then transfer pancakes to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
To ensure the pancakes are cooked through, bake them in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
