Remove the core of 25 dates and stuff the dates with walnuts.

Arrange the stuffed dates on a cake plate in a single layer.

Add 200gr butter to the pan and melt it on medium heat.

Add 220gr flour and toast it lightly, stirring continuously for about 15-20 minutes until it acquires a very light tan, nutty flavor and a thin, smooth spreadable consistency.

In between, add 1/2tsp cardamom powder and 1/2tsp cinnamon powder, mixing well with the spices.

Remove from heat and pour the hot flour-butter mixture immediately over the dates.

Sprinkle grounded pistachio on top, cover, and let it cool and set overnight at room temperature.

The next day, remove the ring from the cake tin and cut pieces of the dessert with a very sharp knife.
