1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cloves (optional)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a mixing bowl, cream together 4 tablespoons of softened butter, 1/2 cup of white sugar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.

Add 1 beaten egg to the butter and sugar mixture and mix well.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon of cloves (optional) to the mixture and blend well.
