Drain the jackfruit and place it in a pan with a little water.
Cook the jackfruit on medium heat for about 5 minutes until the water evaporates and it softens.
Shred the jackfruit with a fork to achieve a stringy texture.
In a bowl, combine salt, black pepper, granulated onion, granulated garlic, and paprika.
Add the ham flavored bouillon to the dry ingredients.
In another bowl, mix the vital wheat gluten with the dry ingredients.
Add peanut butter and barbecue sauce to the mixture.
Pour in some water and blend the mixture using a stick blender until smooth.
Add the shredded jackfruit to the mixture and combine well, shredding any remaining hard pieces.
Knead the mixture for a bit to ensure it comes together.
Shape the mixture into two racks of ribs and wrap them in parchment paper and foil.
Place the wrapped ribs in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes to steam.
After 45 minutes, unwrap the ribs and let them cool for about an hour.
Marinate the ribs in barbecue sauce for at least 15 minutes on both sides.
Heat a skillet and sear the ribs for 4-5 minutes on each side until charred.
