Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan.

Add 5 slit green chilies to the ghee.

Add 1/2 kg peeled and cubed cucumbers to the pan.

Add water to the pan and allow the cucumbers to cook for around 5 minutes.

Prepare a paste by grinding together 1/2 freshly grated coconut, 1 tsp coriander seeds, some mustard seeds, 1 tsp uncooked rice, and 1/2 tsp turmeric with a little water until smooth.

Add 1 tbsp tamarind pulp to the pan with the cucumbers.

Add the prepared paste to the pan.

Add salt and a pinch of sugar to the mixture.

Allow the curry to boil for 5 minutes without covering it.
