Mix 1 cup soy milk, 1 tablespoon yeast, and 1 tablespoon sugar; let sit in a warm place for 7-10 minutes.
Add 3 cups all-purpose flour to the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough with plant-based butter for about 15 minutes until soft.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 20 minutes until doubled in size.
Shape the dough into smaller sizes for traditional Ghana tea bread.
Sprinkle flour on the shaped dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Cut the dough with a new blade and place it in the oven to bake.
