Remove the core from the cabbage.

Boil water in a kettle halfway full.

Pour hot water over the rice in a bowl until covered and cover with a lid until absorbed.

Chop the onion and shred the carrots.

Once the water is boiling, add the cabbage to the pot.

Place a frying pan on medium heat and add oil.

Add the chopped onion and shredded carrots to the pan and caramelize.

Add the meat and beef flavoring, simmer for two minutes, then add the rice.

Once the cabbage is boiled, remove the leaves.

Chop the remaining cabbage and add it to the bottom of a clay pot with oregano, dill, and bay leaf.

Cut a little vein out of each cabbage leaf and fill with the meat mixture.

Roll up the leaf, tucking in the edges.

Layer the rolls in the pot with oregano and dill in between.

Pour tomato juice over the top and shake lightly to soak the layers.

Add some cabbage leaves on top and cover with a lid.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for two and a half hours.

Remove the cabbage leaves from the top and serve with sour cream.
