1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 cup uncooked rice
2 cups chicken broth

Boil a pot of water with salt and add the cabbage, cover with a lid to cook.

In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté purple onions for a few minutes.

Add mushrooms to the onions and sauté for a few more minutes.

Add garlic and cook for about one minute, then remove from heat and place in a bowl.

In the same pan, add ground beef and break it down while cooking.

Season the beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and creole seasoning, then mix.

Add the mushroom and onion mixture back in along with crushed tomatoes and uncooked rice, mix well and set aside.

Carefully remove the cabbage leaves from the pot and place them aside.

Stuff each cabbage leaf with the meat mixture, rolling it up like a burrito and placing it seam-side down in a baking dish.

Pour about a third cup of chicken broth over the cabbage rolls and add the remaining crushed tomatoes on top.

Season the top with salt and pepper, then cover with remaining cabbage leaves.

Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for about an hour.
