Cut the bread fruits in half and remove the heart.

Peel the skin off the bread fruits.

Place the peeled bread fruits in a pot with salted water to boil.

Boil the saltfish at least three times, pouring off the water each time to reduce saltiness.

After boiling, wash the bread fruits and add a tablespoon of salt to the water before boiling again.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Add minced garlic to the oil and sauté for a couple of minutes, being careful not to burn it.

Add chopped onion to the pan and sauté until softened.

Add chopped tomatoes and spices (onion powder, paprika, curry powder) to the pan and cook down for a few minutes.

Add the boiled saltfish to the mixture and combine well, cooking for a few more minutes without adding water.

Mash the boiled bread fruit in a bowl until smooth, adding a little butter to soften it.

Add half a teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, all-purpose seasoning, and parsley to the mashed bread fruit and mix well.

Let the mashed bread fruit drain in a colander to remove excess water before forming balls.
