Add 600 grams of self-rising flour to a bowl.
Add 250 grams of sugar, salt, and vanilla flavor to the flour.
Crack 2 eggs into a separate bowl to avoid shell contamination, then add to the mixture.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the mixture.
Gradually mix in 300 ml of warm water, adding as needed to achieve the right consistency.
Cover the mixture and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes before frying.
Scoop the dough with your hands, squeeze fingers to drop it gently into the hot oil.
Fry for 10 to 12 minutes, then turn the buns over and fry for an additional 8 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the buns and place them on a plate to drain excess oil.
