1 cup coconut milk

1 cup water
1 tablespoon tamarind
2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons palm sugar
2 onions

1 stick lemongrass
1 inch piece of galangal
3 cloves garlic

Toast fennel seeds, cardamom seeds, coriander seeds, cloves, and black peppercorns in a pan until fragrant.
