2 bars of chocolate
1 cinnamon stick
1 piloncillo
0.5 gallons of regular milk
2 cans of leche evaporada (evaporated milk)
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
4 galletas Maria (Maria cookies)

Start with 2 cups of water.

Add 2 bars of chocolate, 1 cinnamon stick, and 1 piloncillo.

Cover and let it boil for 15 minutes.

Once the chocolate is melted, mix it quickly.

Add half a gallon of regular milk.

Blend 2 cans of leche evaporada with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 4 galletas Maria.

Once blended, add the mixture slowly to the chocolate while mixing.

Use a molinillo to froth the mixture, scraping the bottom to prevent sticking or burning.

Once it boils and starts rising, turn it off.
