Preheat the oven to 280°C (about 540°F) for 15 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine 3 whole eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 5 paçoquinhas, and 3 tablespoons of margarine or butter, and beat until creamy.
Add 1 cup of milk and 3 cups of all-purpose flour to the mixture and mix well.
Add 1 tablespoon of baking powder and mix gently until combined.
Pour the batter into a medium-sized bundt pan.
Bake for 20 minutes at 280°C, then lower the temperature to 180°C (about 350°F) and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
For the brigadeiro topping, combine 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon of margarine, and 5 paçoquinhas in a saucepan and cook until it pulls away from the bottom of the pan.
Add 1 can of cream to the mixture and stir until combined and heated through.
Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool before removing it from the pan.
Spread the brigadeiro topping over the cooled cake and optionally sprinkle crushed paçoquinha on top.
