Sprinkle seasoning mixture (Old Bay, smoked paprika, garlic chili and chive spice blend, sea salt, black pepper, cajun seasoning) over each piece of salmon.
Let the seasoned salmon sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.
Add about a half stick of butter to a frying pan and melt it over medium heat.
Once the butter has melted, place the salmon in the frying pan.
Sear the salmon for about 3 minutes on one side.
Add fresh thyme to the pan for flavor infusion.
After 3 minutes, flip the salmon to the other side and cook for another 3 minutes.
Periodically baste the salmon with the pan juices to keep it moist.
After cooking on both sides, remove the salmon from the frying pan.
Place the salmon in the oven for another 5 minutes to ensure it is fully cooked through.
