Tenderize the conch and boil it in water with salt for about 5 minutes.
In a pot, add half a cup of flour and brown it while stirring to prevent burning.
Add chopped onion and bell pepper to the browned flour and sauté for about 5 minutes.
Mix in thyme leaves for extra flavor and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Combine the sautéed mixture with the flavorful water used to boil the conch.
Add the tenderized conch to the pot and mix well.
Add potatoes and carrots to the mixture, adjusting the quantity to preference.
Season with ground apple and salt, mixing well.
Squeeze in the juice of one and a half limes, adjusting to taste.
Cover and let simmer for about 25 minutes.
