unsalted butter

Vanilla extract adds flavor without alcohol.
Melt 1 stick of unsalted butter.
Add 5 1/2 cups of powdered sugar to the melted butter.
Mix together using a KitchenAid mixer until combined.
If the mixture is crumbly, add more butter until it comes together.
Divide the mixture into seven bowls for different flavors.
Add peppermint flavoring to the first bowl and mix until combined.
Add cherry flavoring to the second bowl and mix until combined.
Add maple pecan flavoring to the third bowl and mix until combined.
Add lemon flavoring to the fourth bowl and mix until combined.
Add coconut flavoring to the fifth bowl and mix until combined.
Add orange flavoring to the sixth bowl and mix until combined.
Add vanilla flavoring to the seventh bowl and mix until combined.
Knead each flavor mixture until smooth and free of lumps.
Roll each flavor mixture into balls and place them on a tray.
Wash hands between flavors to avoid mixing flavors.
If a mixture is too moist, add powdered sugar until the right consistency is achieved.
Chop walnuts for the maple pecan flavor and mix in after achieving the right consistency.
Add coconut flakes to the coconut flavor mixture for extra texture.
Place the rolled balls in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
Prepare a double boiler by bringing water to a boil in a pot and placing a metal bowl on top.
Add melting wafers to the bowl and melt, adding coconut oil to thin the chocolate if necessary.
