1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon paprika
2 cups water
1 carrot

Wash the salt fish to remove excess salt before boiling.

In a pot, add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

Add the washed salt fish to the boiling water and cover the pot, cooking on medium heat for at least 15 minutes.

Change the water if necessary to remove more salt from the salt fish.

After boiling, remove the salt fish from the pot and let it cool.

Once cooled, rip the salt fish into pieces, but not too small, and set aside in a bowl.

In another pot, heat 5 spoonfuls of oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped vegetables (onion, bell peppers, tomato, carrot) to the pot, reserving some for later, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Add the seasoning (all-purpose seasoning, black pepper, seasoned salt, paprika) to the vegetables and stir to combine.

After sautéing, add the salt fish to the pot and stir everything together, allowing it to cook for 3 minutes on low heat.

Add the callaloo to the pot, ensuring it is rinsed and drained of excess liquid before adding.

Mix the callaloo with the other ingredients in the pot and add any remaining seasoning.

Optionally, add 2 spoonfuls of ketchup and a pinch of salt to taste, stirring to combine.
