Fold dough into thirds, then roll out again into a rectangle.
Repeat folding and rolling process two more times for flaky layers.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut dough into desired shapes for pastries.
Place pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
