Beef Sausage Somsa

Traditionally enjoyed during celebrations and family gatherings, these savory pastries symbolize hospitality and warmth. Mix in cumin, black pepper, salt, and chopped parsley; remove from heat.
Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into circles.
Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle.
Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, sealing the edges.
Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Arrange somsa on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Alternatively, heat oil in a deep pan and fry somsa until crispy and golden.
