1 liter boiling water
1 cup boiled brown lentils

Heat 1/4 cup of olive oil in a large pot.

Add 1 large chopped onion, 1 teaspoon of garlic paste, and 2 teaspoons of ginger paste; sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions soften and become fragrant.

Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon; cook for another 2 minutes.

Add 1 cup of chopped celery and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add 500 g of beef cubes, chopped into small pieces, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the beef is cooked through.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, salt, and pepper; mix well and cook for another 4-5 minutes.

Add 300 g of drained chickpeas (about 1 can without liquid) and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add 3 cups of tomato puree and mix well; then add 1/4 teaspoon of chili flakes.

Pour in 1 liter of boiling water, bring to a boil, cover, and cook on low heat for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes, stir and add 1 cup of boiled brown lentils and 1/2 cup of vermicelli noodles; mix and cook for another 15 minutes.

Stir in a bunch of chopped coriander just before serving.
