Cut each circle in half to form two semi-circles.
Take one semi-circle, form a cone, and seal the edge with water.
Fill the cone with the onion mixture and seal the top by pinching the edges.
Repeat with remaining dough and filling.
Heat oil in a deep pan until hot.
Fry the samosas in batches until golden brown.
