Cambodian Pho

Cultural Context

Originating from the rich culinary traditions of Cambodia, Cambodian Pho, or Kuy Teav, is a beloved noodle soup that reflects the country's diverse flavors. Traditionally enjoyed for breakfast or as a hearty meal, it combines fragrant broth with fresh herbs and proteins. While similar to Vietnamese Pho, Cambodian Pho often features a unique blend of spices and local ingredients, making it a distinct dish. Today, it is enjoyed both locally and by those seeking to explore Southeast Asian cuisine.
