Almond flour adds a nutty flavor while reducing fat.
Soak horse gram in water overnight.
Transfer soaked horse gram to a pressure cooker, add salt, and cook on high flame for 2 whistles, then low flame for 3 whistles.
While the horse gram is cooking, chop onion and garlic finely.
Add green chili to the chopped onion and garlic and grind them together.
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high flame.
Once the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and let them pop.
Add curry leaves to the pan and sauté briefly.
Add the ground onion, garlic, and green chili mixture to the pan and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
Chop raw banana into small pieces and add to the pan.
Sprinkle turmeric powder and red chili powder over the raw banana and mix well.
Add salt to taste and stir to combine.
If needed, add a little water to help cook the raw banana until tender.
Instead of plain water, use the water from the cooked horse gram to add flavor.
Once the raw banana is tender, add the cooked horse gram to the pan and mix everything together.
Cover the pan and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
