Wash the chikkudukaya and place them on a plate.
Boil the chikkudukaya pieces with some salt and strain them.
In a kadai, heat 3 tablespoons of oil.
Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add 2 chopped onions and mix well.
Sauté the onions until they are golden brown.
Add 2-3 chopped green chilies and mix well with the onions.
Add the boiled chikkudukaya to the kadai and mix thoroughly.
Add salt to taste and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Mix everything well and let it cook on low flame.
In a mixer jar, add 5-6 green chilies, 5-6 garlic cloves, and 4-5 tablespoons of grated coconut.
Grind these ingredients into a paste and set aside.
Once the chikkudukaya is well cooked, add the coconut mixture to the kadai and mix well.
Cook everything together for a few more minutes and garnish with coriander leaves.
