1

Soak 500g of white corn in water for 12 hours in the fridge.

2

Drain the corn and discard the water.

3

Put the corn in a pressure cooker and add 1½ liters of water, ensuring it is about 3 cm above the corn.

4

Cook on medium heat until it reaches pressure, then cook for 25 minutes.

5

After cooking, discard the water.

6

In another pan, add 1½ liters of whole milk and 200ml of coconut milk.

7

Add 1 teaspoon of salt, scraping the bowls to avoid waste.

8

Add 395g of condensed milk (or ½ cup of sugar if not using condensed milk).

9

Add 100g of grated coconut (fresh or packaged).

10

Add 200g of cream, a cinnamon stick, and 10 cloves (optional).

11

Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally until it thickens, about 35 minutes on high heat.

12

If desired, adjust the liquid by using 1 liter of milk and ½ liter of water instead of 1½ liters of milk.

13

Turn off the heat and let it cool, noting it will thicken more as it cools.
