Seafood Boil with Spicy Garlic Butter Cajun Sauce

200g butter

1/2 cup seafood broth
1/2 tsp salt
4 Tbsp hot sauce
9 Tbsp brown sugar
5 Tbsp Cajun seasoning

Boil 8 cups of water and add 1 tablespoon of salt.

Add 500g of shrimp and 500g of mussels to the pot.

After 2 minutes, strain the shrimp and set aside.

After 1 minute of straining the shrimp, strain the mussels and set aside.

Strain the corn right after the mussels and set aside.

Add cleaned and sliced squid and cook for about 45 seconds on high flame setting.

After about 45 seconds, strain the squid and set aside, keeping some of the broth.

Saute 3 pieces of finely chopped onions on medium flame setting until almost somewhat translucent.

Add 200g of butter and mix until it dissolves.

Add 2 heads of finely chopped garlic and continue to saute for about 1 minute.

Then add 1 cup of Sprite and 1/2 cup of the seafood broth, mixing well.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and ground black pepper to the mixture.

Add 4 tablespoons of hot sauce and mix.

Add 9 tablespoons of brown sugar and mix.

Add 5 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning and mix.

Continue to reduce the sauce on medium flame setting until it thickens.

Turn off the flame and add the boiled seafood and the boiled sweet corn.

Mix thoroughly and serve.
