Deep Creole Seafood Boil

Homemade blends can be healthier and cheaper.
Start with a boiling pot of hot water.
Add half a package of Louisiana crab boil seasoning to the pot.
Drop in the snow crab clusters and let them cook for about 10 to 15 minutes.
In another pot, add corn and potatoes along with more Louisiana crab boil seasoning.
Cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, which indicates the corn is done as well.
In a pan, add a little oil and sear the andouille sausage on both sides until nicely browned.
Remove the sausage from the pan once seared.
In the same pan, add chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for a couple of minutes.
Add unsalted butter and chicken broth to the pan, along with lemon juice and hot sauce.
Let the mixture come to a simmer, then add in the seasoning and red Argentine shrimp.
Reintroduce the cooked andouille sausage to the pan and let everything simmer until the shrimp are fully cooked.
Remove the corn and potatoes from the pot and place them on a plate along with the snow crab.
Add lemon slices to the plate.
Pour the buttery sauce with sausage, corn, and shrimp over the top of the seafood.
