Soak glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Rinse mung beans and soak them for 2-3 hours.
Prepare banana leaves by washing and cutting them into squares.
Steam the soaked glutinous rice for 30 minutes until translucent.
Mash the mung beans and mix with salt, black pepper, and garlic.
In a bowl, combine pork with soy sauce, sugar, and shallots.
Lay a piece of banana leaf flat and add a layer of glutinous rice.
Add a layer of mung bean mash on top of the rice.
Place seasoned pork on top of the mung bean layer.
Cover with another layer of mung bean mash and then glutinous rice.
Fold the banana leaves over to form a package and secure with string.
Steam the wrapped packages for 2-3 hours, ensuring they are fully cooked.
Let them cool slightly before unwrapping.
Serve warm, garnished with coriander and sesame seeds.
