Hing (हींग) – ½ tsp

Green chillies, chopped (हरि मिर्च) – 2 nos
Chana dal (चना दाल) – 2 tsp
Ginger, chopped (अदरक) – 2 tsp
Onion, chopped (प्याज़) – ¼ cup
Curry leaves (कड़ी पत्ता) – handful
Coriander leaves (ताज़ा धनिया) – handful
Baking soda – 1tsp – 1½tsp (approx)
Oil (तेल) – for cooking
