Heat a skillet on medium-high heat.

Add about 1 teaspoon of olive oil to the skillet.

Add 2 cloves of garlic, sauté until the garlic is warm and toasty but not brown.

Blanch kale in boiling water for 2 minutes, then remove immediately and store in the fridge for later use.

Add 1 cup of blanched kale to the skillet with the garlic.

Add a generous amount of black pepper to the kale.

Grate Parmesan cheese over the kale, using a microplane for a finer texture.

Turn off the heat and mix everything together before plating.
