TUNA PESTO PASTA | HUNGRY MOM COOKING

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Before draining, reserve about 1/3 cup of pasta water.

In a pan, add some olive oil. Saute the garlic and onion until soft and aromatic.

Add the drained canned tuna, season with salt and pepper. Saute for a minute or two.

Add the heavy cream and pasta water. Mix and bring to a simmer.

Add the pesto and cherry tomatoes and mix.

Finally, add the cooked pasta and toss until covered with the sauce. Sprinkle parmesan cheese before serving.
