1

Start by taking 1 cup of fresh green peas and add them to a mixer.

2

Coarsely grind the peas, do not make it too fine, just roughly mash them.

3

In a kadhai, add 2 tablespoons of oil and 1 teaspoon of butter.

4

Once the butter melts, add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste and 1 teaspoon of chopped green chilies.

5

Fry these ingredients until the raw smell goes away.

6

Add the coarsely ground peas to the kadhai and mix well.

7

Cook the peas until the moisture evaporates, adding salt, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, and 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder while mixing.

8

Once the mixture is dry and leaves the pan, turn off the flame and transfer it to a bowl to cool down.

9

For the potato mixture, take a little over 1/2 kilogram of boiled potatoes, peel them, and let them cool down.

10

Grate the cooled potatoes finely, ensuring no chunks remain.

11

Add 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, and 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies to the grated potatoes.

12

Add 2 tablespoons of corn flour for binding and mix everything well until combined.

13

Grease your hands with a little oil and take a portion of the potato mixture, flatten it out.

14

Place 1 to 1.5 tablespoons of the pea stuffing in the center and seal the edges of the potato mixture around it.

15

Shape it into a round patty and repeat for all the mixture.

16

In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup corn flour, a pinch of black pepper, and salt.

17

Gradually add water to make a medium consistency batter.

18

Dip each patty into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with bread crumbs.

19

Heat oil in a pan and fry the patties on medium heat until golden and crispy on both sides.

20

Remove the patties and drain excess oil on a strainer.
