Spinach and Artichoke Dip

1 Italian round loaf
1 Onion sliced
3 oz. Chopped garlic
1 1/2 lb. Artichoke hearts drained
16 oz. Sour cream
8 oz. Cream cheese
10 oz. Frozen chopped spinach thawed
4 oz. Fontina cheese
2 oz. Vegetable oil
4 oz. Parmesan cheese grated
1 tsp. Crushed red pepper

In a large sauce pan over medium heat, add the oil and onions. Caramelize the onions for 6-8 minutes stirring frequently.

Add the garlic and cook 1 minute.

Reduce the heat to low! Add the remaining ingredients.

Stir constantly until combined.

Keep stirring till hot and bubbly. Season if necessary.

Hollow out the Italian loaf and keep the insides as this will be used for dipping. Cut the inside bread into bite sized pieces.

Place the dip in the hollowed out bread, serve with chips, vegetables, and bite sized bread pieces.
