Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Incorporate raisins, orange zest, and spices into the dough.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Shape the risen dough into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
Let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and hollow sounding when tapped.
Cool the loaf on a wire rack before slicing.
