50g Sugar
3 tbsp cinnamon
1 lemon

Peel all the apples and slice them in cubes or however you like having them.

Add the apples in a deep pot, add in the sugar, vanilla essence, rum essence, cinnamon, the sliced lemon and water to cover the apples.

Bring to boil on medium heat and boil for 10 minutes or until the apples turn soft.

Whilst boiling, have a taste to see if it needs anymore sugar.

If not, then remove from heat and enjoy.
