In a wok add oil, chopped onions and fry until translucent.
Add whole spices and fry for a minute until aroma comes out.
Add chicken, Ginger garlic paste and fry until color changes.
Add chopped tomatoes, chopped potatoes and cover and cook for 12-15 minutes on low heat.
Add chopped chilies and basil leaves and cook for 2-3 minutes, garnishing with chopped coriander and serve hot.
