Chicken Lettuce Wraps

1 pound ground chicken
1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
5 tablespoons hoisin sauce
8 ounces diced water chestnuts
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon ginger paste
3 minced garlic cloves
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 chopped green onions
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Start by showing the ingredients needed for the recipe.

Preheat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan.

Cook 1 pound of ground chicken for about 5 minutes or until almost completely cooked.

Add 3 minced garlic cloves, 5 tablespoons of hoisin sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of ginger paste to the chicken.

Mix the ingredients in and cook on medium heat until the sauce thickens up.

After a few minutes, check that the sauce has thickened.

Drain 8 ounces of chopped water chestnuts and add them to the chicken mixture along with 2 chopped green onions.

Mix everything together for a few minutes on medium-low heat.

Let the mixture cool down for about 15 to 20 minutes before adding it to the lettuce (though the creator forgot to wait and added it while hot).

Serve the mixture in iceberg lettuce leaves.
