  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, diced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 head of butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3Add the ground chicken to the skillet, cooking until browned and fully cooked.
  4. 4Stir in the chopped mushrooms and diced water chestnuts, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5Add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper to the skillet, mixing well.
  6. 6Cook for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
  7. 7Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and cilantro.
  8. 8To serve, spoon the chicken mixture into the lettuce leaves, folding them like wraps.
  9. 9Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and serve immediately.

  • 200g fresh crab meat
  • 400g canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
